Ben has been involved with Judo since the early 1990s. He holds a fifth Dan (black belt).

His favourite Judo moments were either winning his first Dan or completing second Dan by line up.

Ben is a BJA 'B' referee and a Yorkshire and Humberside area committee member. He is a senior examiner, which means we can do Dan grade theory exams at the club. He is also a BJA level two coach.

Ben writes software for a living, and takes photos for a hobby.

Helen is a first Dan (Black belt). Her favourite Judo moment was getting her black belt. She says it was a hard slog but she got there in the end!
